We are in the process of renovating a late 1920’s farm house and are having some trouble locating some material. The house had been remodeled at sometime and they put asbestos siding over the old siding. The asbestos siding is in pretty good shape and we don’t want to go to the expense of removing it. However we do need to find some replacement pieces’ . It is my understanding that they make non-asbestos siding that looks like the real thing for use in this application. The problem is I don’t know how to find a supplier. I was hoping you guys might be able to help me in this endeavor.
Still looking,

My local lumberyard carries it.
Expensive as all hell!
I don't know the manufacturer offhand......I can look into it next time I'm at the yard though.

Thanks for the reply. As I live in Virginia the manufactures info would be great.
Thanks again
The only asbestos siding I've ever had to leave in place was in shingle form and matched up perfectly with combed Red Cedar shingles.
After painting, it all looked the same.
