Realise you can get FRPs already laminated to a substrate. I’m looking at assisting a peer with attaching them to the interior shell of a building (kennel) where the OSB will already be on the walls. Our scope is simply attach panels. What I would like to do is rig up the pressure pot and shoot the adhesive. While I’m sure it’s possible in theory – another one of those things where someone who’s done it would probably save me some headache. Anybody got two cents worth? There’s about 6500 sf here to deal with.

Piffin,
I just did had my first experience with Fiber Reinforced Panels. They're the glossy white wall finish you see in HD bathrooms, commercial kitchen areas, agri buildings etc.
Rw,
I really don't have much production advice for you, as my job was only about 300 sf. I used 10 oz. tubes of panel adhesive with the friction rivets in the centers of the panels. I was pleased with how quickly they install. The panels seem like they will take a lot of abuse and still look presentable.

Well I think you got the explanation already. They are almost always white. Pretty durable (when installed correctly) - which is the catch. Not something remodelers probably get into too often unless they have inlaws like I do who farm and thus we get to go work on ag buildings. Just plastic pop rivets hold them on sometimes, there's channel for seams and edges. Silicone can be useful, but a lot of times where they go, they're getting hit with a Hotsy a good deal, so water getting behind is a real concern.
This kennel, well, you can imagine my lack of enthusiasm with trowelling the stuff on that many sheets. And now imagine doing that, then getting it up several tiers of scaffolding. Ergo, like laminate fabricators do, spray the adhesive, stick it to the wall, done. I know what it would cost for new hoses and a new air cap. Easily less than a days labor, so it buys itself in this job real quick. I just want someone to say oh yeah, you want THIS adhesive. I just finished working on Cheesecake Factory and all the carps did was glue the stuff onto the walls, but buddy the fumes were ......................whew....... I counted the panels though ,cuz thats what I do when I'm not standin' around. LOL 65 full panels
Is that the same thing as "dairy board", dont know if thats a generic term?

Best I can tell you is to get a 1/4" tile throwel and spread it on the FRP and then attach it to the OSB..that's the way it's normally done. Maybe you can get a paint roller and spread the FRP adhesive on with that..try one and see how it goes.
I put some up in my shop using troweled on FRP adhesive. The frp supplier said other types of adhesive don't have the right properties so I bought a bucket of the special stuff. I laid the frp on its face, troweled the back and stuck it in place. I think I did about eight panels with a five gallon bucket.
