Hi,
I need an attic ladder. The height from finished floor to ceiling trusses is 10 ft. Trusses are 22-1/2″ apart. My problem is that I don’t have enough swing room to use the typical folding ladder.
I am looking for a telescoping ladder, i.e., that one pulls down the door and then slides the ladder down to its full length. I think I have seen such a design, but I can’t find one now.
Any sources?
Thanks.

Thanks to all who replied. Most of the suggested models have the same proble - they require too much swing room to lower the ladder. I only have about 60", and most require a swing room of about 70" or more.Calvert may have a model that works for me. I have requested more info from them on the swing room requirements.Again, thanks to all. gary comfort
There is another option in the back of FHB and JLC, that has a scissor type hinge the length of the stair.
