I need to attach flat screen to the reciever, that are about 16 ft. apart. I thought about buying “monster cable” and slipping into a box @ both ends. Yes the sheetrock is hung. I do have a way into the wall. Anyone have any better ideas or will this suffice? Thanks SN

If possible try to install non metallic pipe to serve as a chase for future wire upgrades.
Not sure if Monster makes an in wall cable, but a box at each end with jacks is the cleanest look.
Monster cable tends to be pretty overpriced stuff...you can get cables that will work just as well for much less money.
try an keep to a direct cable connection between the devices you are hooking up. connector plates logrithmicly decrease you dB (signal level) at each connection...ultimately degrading your signal. you can definitly find a 16ft cable and as already mentioned monster brand is a good study in branding. find an more appropriately priced av cable
We use these behind the plasma TV's, much cleaner install, use a surge protector receptacle for power. We pull Belden 6xMini-coax and crimp our own heads on, we don't like using wallplate connectors because of connection issues. You can order cables from Petra.com or mcminone.com if you need premades.
