We are building a new house which has a lot of windows and we do not want to cover the window the window treatments. I am curious if anybody has any information about window material which could change color (tint) to provide privacy when we want it. I think there is some material between the glass of the window which changes color.
I read about it sometime ago, but could not found any information about it anymore.

If I remember from my home automation days, it is used in high end applications, the one that turns opaque white is 99% of the market, and runs about $100 sq foot
Trouble is that it is very custom, and is hard to match to the rest of your windows, if you use a firm like Marvin.
