The legend that rice porridge was used in mortar to make robust ramparts has been verified by archaeological research in the northwestern province of Shaanxi, reported the Chinese state news agency Xinhua.

That's okay, a friend of mine was building a spec house, he got a buyer who insisted she have all the tile installed by her own installer. Her own guy didn't like her either, or he actually believed joint compound would be a sufficient grout for the guest shower.
