We’re starting to finish our basement and there is soooooo much information out there, but none that answers my particular questions so here I post!!
1) We’re putting a subfloor in, but because the ceiling height isn’t the greatest, we don’t want to put sleepers down. Now, after putting at lest a 6mil VB, could I use 1/4 t&g ply? (Do they make it that thin?) If so, should I let it float or tapcon it down? We plan on putting carpet and some type of engendered hardwood down.
2) Should I put the subfloor in first before any walls, including the walls along the cocreate outer wall or do it after?
Thanks in advance!

Use Dri-core, it has plastic dimples on the bottom, both as a vapor barrier and insulating gap.
Also Homoaote has a Comfort base product that is suppose to for this also. I have not read the fine print on it.
