What do you plan to burn in that fireplace?
Gas logs, wood?
You'll need another flue, what do you have for a chimney?
I have abig fisher stove with 8inch pipe. or would putting a fire place in basement with pipe going up the outside wall of my house. and yes i wanna burn wood in it. and thanks for the help
burkish
Exterior piping is possible, but-
You would no doubt need to go to insulated pipe very soon as draft is compromised greatly if the exhaust gets cooled. That pipe is not cheap. Transitions through floors/walls/roof-anything combustible complicates matters. You cannot just go outside-you need to go up to the proper height above the roofline so wind currents don't slow draft or worst case-send it back down.
My advice-go to a stove dealer you can trust and show them what you have stove and dwelling and see if they can advise.
This comes from no real educated training, but from burning wood for sole or additional heat source for probably 40 years. I've done some marginal riggings and wish only to remind you that it's nothing to play with. It could mean more fire than what's in your stove.
Best of luck.
thank you sir will let ya know

There are no doubt exceptions, but in general every fireplace must have its own separate flue.
Not sure of any exceptions
The code seems pretty hard and fast on each device having it's own chimney.
