Anyone familiar with preparing for a basement slab pour; I’m wondering the proper way to run the vapour barrier at the foundation walls. Can I simply tack it to my level strip, or should I tape it to the concrete.
tried this question in general discussion, but haven’t come across a answer yet

Simply tack it to the level strip. This piece of plastic is supposed to act simply as a vapour/moisture barrier to slow vapour diffusion upwards. It only has to be overlapped (I like about 12-18") unless it's designed to be part of a soil gas air barrier system also.
Thanks. I was going to tape but then thought it would be alot easier to simply tack to the level strip and also bottom plates ( for inside walls). Then I got to thinking if maybe I should be sealing it with accoustical seal like what is done on the framing upstairs.
