Am involved in a remodel that will entail finishing off a basement into a media type room for the teenagers
all appears very dry but I’d like to coat the walls w/ some waterproofing before I frame & insulate
anyone have any coating materials they recommend??

Interior coatings are bandaids. Exterior prevention first (grading/downspout extensions) and proper construction detailing.

What made the teaching of Jesus different and apparently so hard to accept then as now, was that it required a critical reassessment of the structures and values and attitudes of human society as his listeners and followers shared in it.

rjw is correct. But, a lot depends on what the foundation is
made of. Stone? Block? Concrete?
Thoroseal w/ acrly 60 may do the trick, mix and brush it
on. Made by Degussa/BASF.

Fine Homebuilding ran an arcicle on just that topic a couple of months ago using techniques developed by Building Science. Well worth a look.
appreciate the feedbackI definitely addressed / reviewed whole exterior environment - just one final detail before covering all wallswill check out FineHomebuilding / Home Science resource
If the foundation is concrete and unpainted, use Xypex. It goes on with a roller and goes into the concrete crystalizing into a waterproof barrier.
