Hi all!!
Getting close to finalizing the new house plans, but i wanted to include very specific directions for GC bids regarding how the walk out basement was going to be waterproofed. We live in the Pacific Northwest (the best place on earth!) so we get a fair amount of rain. the soil is sandy so drainage should be good, at least good enough to pass a septic drain test. Anyway, what are your recommondations for a basement waterproofing system?
thank yoU!!

I've used something like this stuff: (Different brand, but basically the same)

Can't tell you how happy I am with the stuff. Someone here recommended it to me, and I've recommended it several times to others. Really makes a difference in how dry the basement is - Even seems to keep the humidity lower.
I got mine from "Intercontinental Const. & Equipment" in Fridley, Minnesota. Dealt with a guy named Brett Anderson at (763) 784-8406. Real nice guy.
Why do we say something is out of whack? What is a whack?
When referring to Minnesota, you only need to give a first name. Everyone's last name is Anderson! {G}Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a carpenter to build one.
