I moved into to a house with a basement that has block walls. I don’t currently have a water problem in the basement but I am going to finish the basement. I would like to waterproof the walls (on the inside) prior to finishing it. I am looking for a product that will last 15-20 years, since I will be in this house for a long time. I have used drylok paint before on my old house but that lasts for only 5 years. Does anyone know of a product I could use?
thank you pat

Waterproofing inside a basement is snakeoil. If there is no water problem in the basement (which you will only truly know after a severe winter, spring, summer, and fall, or two), then put up a vapor barrier and frame out stud walls. Save the Drylok money for a dartboard or something.
...that's not a mistake, it's rustic
I'm with Jeff. Put your water control efforts outside where they'll do something other than hide symptoms.
Positive grading, downspout extensions, etc. A few bucks there are worth far more than a bucket of "waterproofing" paint.
