Sounds like an application for IKEA cabinets.
Helicopter,
I'm in a house I plan to leave soon and have been looking at bith lines for my kitchen. I've yet to find anything that would make me choose one over the other.
I am a GC specializng in small repairs and kitchen and bath remodels. I am not familiar with the Shenandoah line but have kraftmaid in my own office and kitchen. I have recoomended kraftmaid to clients not wanting to have custom cabinets done primarily because they are one of the few "prefab"cabinets that will do a reduced depth on some of there product line. Good luck.
see if "Legacy" is available in your area.
way better than anything from Lowed/HD/Ikea ...

Sorry; Legacy (made by Bertch) is not superior to Kraftmade (after a comprehensive comparison) and they are definitely not a "budget" cabinet.
Check out the August "04 article in CR; I think it will help a lot.

and Yes, these low to mid range cab's are nicer than the low end/ knock down stuff from HD, Lowes and/or Ikea.

Lowes is no place to be shopping if you are on a budget! My local lumber yard beats Lowes by at least 20% on Kraftmaid. Lowes won't do a price match because they have different style names for the exact cabinets and therefore claim to be offering different cabinets so aren't required to match.
