I am in the process of gutting a bathroom for a customer and they want wood wainscot on the walls. My problem is that I am concerned about the moisture level. I checked into GP Ply-Bead. And for the most part, they don’t recomend it in damp or “high moisture” areas. What can I do to insure a long lasting product other than good priming and high quality paints? Or is there a better product out there?

Make sure your wood wainscot is dried to the appropriate moisture level and seal the back side (ends too if you can pre -cut the pieces). This should help eliminate much of the movement.
