I will be installing wainscoting using beadboard panels (4 X 8 sheets about 1/4″ thick). There will not be any stiles, just a cap and baseboard.
How do I handle outside corners? Do I miter the thin beadboard? Would prefer to have smooth corners of the beadboard but am concerned about a miter. Is there a trim I can put on outside corners other than stock corner moulding?….. corner moulding looks too thick.
Thanks for any help.

Milled my own from 4/4 poplar. Joint one good edge, make your interior cuts first, then rip the piece off of the board. If you do two sides of one board, it'll reduce changing blade heights on the saw. Use construction adhesive and tape to mount the trim. Smooth up saw marks and ease corners after installation.
I just used the beadboard in one of the bathrooms in my house. My solution was to use stock corner molding, BUT..... use your palm sander, some 150 grit sandpaper and some time to thin out the molding where it meets the base and rail. It looks great, and nobody but you will know the corner molds didn't come with the panels.
