I posted a thread last week asking for advice on a toilet flange that was too high and received great answers.
After pulling everything down to the subfloor, I’ve discovered I just need to shim a bit to level the subfloor around the toilet. Then I’ll build the whole floor up one more inch (plus the vinyl thickness). I figure the 1/4″ underlayment plus 3/4″ of plywood will work fine.
What is the best plywood to use for the 3/4″?
Thanks!

There's a relatively new product on the market, however its availibility may be limited depending on where you live. AdvanTech is great stuff. Many carpenters swear on it compared to the regular plywood, OSB, etc. Just used it on my own bathroom project. Highly water resistant. Rumor has it that people have put sheets under water for months straight...no swelling, molding, deteriorating, nothing. It has what appears to be a thin wax coating on the faces. Good luck.
They sell it here. It's a possibility. Thanks.
