I am a small residential homebuilder looking at all the various construction estimating/takeoff software and was wondering which one “the one”. Sure none of them are perfect, but I’d like to be able to purchase only one.

you ever go into chief architect group ?? not the yahoo e group !!!! they will load your email up !! they might be able to help . The best one i seen so far was uda construction office seemed simple however i am so busy and preocuppied with learning my cad program i havent pursued it , i probally will start searching again soon This program seemed the best because it worked with quick books or quicken also which i feel was a plus anyway check there sites out good luck
