Is it better to use a face frame cup hinge that attaches to the face frame edge with 2 screws or 1? The Salice cup hinges are single piece and have 2 attach points versus the single piece Blum and Amerock hinges that have 1.
Would the hinges with 2 screws will be more likely to splitting the frame’s edge from use over time.
Does everyone mostly use Blum?

The Blum face frame plates I use have two mounting holes.
Predrill unless poplar.
I would be leary of one hole mounting.
I've installed gobs of the single screw Salice which, IMHO is a better hinge than a Blum Compact. Only time I've had screw holding concerns is on plywood or thin face frames. On softer woods I might use a longer screw, say 1" instead of 3/4". I do use cutter tip screws which helps prevent splitting.
OTOH, if I were using conventional Euro hinge and face frame bases, I'd use Blum Clip Top, which is superior to Salice Clip. The advantage to this setup is greater adjustability than compact hinges, the disadvantage is they hang into cabinet a couple of inches.
Edit: On re-reading I see you're talking about double screw Salice, a little fussier to install, but uses smaller screws, like #6 x 5/8.
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
