Course the dlient wanted 4″ tiles, but who am I to argue with the wife. Over 500 for the tub/shower surround alone. Natural stone tile, as opposed to artificial stone, tranvertine like stone. What’s the best product for sealing? By the by, should I seal before gouting to minmize grout sticking to tile? (Will, perforce be using grout bag since stone tile full of pot holes, divots, crater, et al. Thanx.

I went thru this exercise last summer....The final result was totally dependant on the final (acceptable) color of the stone...some sealer changed it a lot, some not so much ,grout changed some, some not so much ... (did not pre seal)
Spent a week and a half with sample panels that were grouted and then sealed before "got it"....Be careful, its brain damage...
