Best time to buy a gas boiler furnace?

Hi. I would like to replace my 23 year old Weil-McLain gas boiler furnace with a more efficient furnace and was wondering if it’s true that I would get a reduced price system after the heating season is over in the late spring (I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia)? Or do I buy one now with all of the rebates that companies are offering at this time? Thanks to all in advance!
Oh, I know Weil-McLains have a good reputation, but any suggestions on other good furnaces/brands? I have base board hot water throughout my house and just want to replace the furnace only. Thanks!

The very best time to buy anything is when you don't need it. It gives you the best opportunity to look into any possible deals that are available.
Some guys who are just starting up in HVAC might not get their pricing right and work too cheap(don't we all know about that). Some bigger companies that need lots of work just to make payroll may give you a deal.
You have the time so use it.
