Best way to build 3 colmn 1/2 rnd.arbor?
I am trying to figure out how to build an arbor at the diving brd side of a pool with a column on either side and one behind the d/board.
I have thought about making the curved part out of steel.
But was wondering if any other techniques would look better.

why not make a built up laminated beam?
what part is curved?

Excellence is its own reward!
The top will need to be in a curve ,kind of a Greek look.
My plan was to build the top and bottom pieces out of plywood and use them for a form to build an internal frame to bend the side pieces and fasten to.
Then I was going to wrap that in concrete board sheets also cut to form.
I am thinking about taking rebar, bend it to the curve and fasten it with conduit strapping on the inside of the forms to strenghthen and unify.
The width of this structure is close to 20' so I have told the home owner it will take at least 5 columns instead of three.
She had seen one about 8' across made of concrete with three columns.

I think steel also. There are shops that can bend steel I, W, or channel to most any radius. Attach blocking and cover with PVC. Cap with copper to keep the water out.
