My Mother-In-Law just had a built-in gas fire pit put in her back yard in addition to a bunch of other work. Although the work is not completed, the contractor is nowhere to be found. So I’m going to try and straighten out a few things.
The fire pit consists of a cinder block outer ring and is lined by poured cement. I’m afraid that once Winter rains come along the pit will not drain. Any thoughts on an easy way to drain this thing? Can I simply drill through the cement bottom and let the water seep into the ground?
As always, your suggestions are appreciated.
