Hello,
Can anyone recommend a manufacturer that actually makes good hardware for bi-fold and sliding closet doors?
I’m tired of my current hardware that is always popping out of the track and cheap.
Thanks.

Johnson Hardware.

same question for pocket door hardware, please.
Same answer! Any kind of movable door hardware at all. Their stuff is the best.
Johnson for sure. For the bifold get the 1700 series. Doors do not mount to floor. Hang from the top track and bottom pivots are on the side jambs!
Check their finished opening specs as they are different from the usual boxed sets of bifold.
I have usually made the upper jambs such that the track is recessed in the head jamb. A clean look and not just a qtr round slapped over the track.
