I recommend using hinges to hang the “gang” style doors it gives a much nicer finish & you don’t have to worry about the doors falling out of the track or the pins splitting out the stiles…which will happen eventually.

I've got a finished opening thats about 1/2" too tall for my bifold doors. Years ago, I was able to get a base pivot that was adjustable but I cant seem to find any now and the hardware dudes all give me blank stares when I ask for this item.
Thanks in advance, JonC
*JonC, can't help you with that hardware, but have run into that problem before. I have either blocked up the foot, or added a piece of trim which lowers the track. The trim can creat a detail or be covered by more trim that also hides the track.Hope you know where to put the knobs, BB
*I install bifolds with adjustable pivots all the time Jon . You should be able to get a bifold hardware kit at any home improvement store for under 10 bucks with adjustable bottom pivots . They still only adjust out about an inch so the advice Billy gave is correct and still in use in Maryland when the framing is WAY off . The company that makes the hardware for the doors I install is called Premdor .Thier helpline phone number is 1-800-663-3667 . Good luck
