We have blind-nail installed 5.25 and 7.25 FC lap siding and we are OK with it.
The q now is about wide. Client wants us to use FC and match the 7.5 reveal of the wood siding, for a new addition.
That would mean we would buy the 9.25 width and lap it 1.75 inches.
I am OK with more exposure than the specified min of 1.25, but this stuff being 5/16″ planks with no bevel, how might it lay?

I've never used fiber cement siding, but Joe Carola started an interest discussion on JLC about a 7" exposure install that he took some pics of.
