Block basement walls-slight water seep
Opinions please. Have a basement with block walls. Twelve course in northeast Ohio. The soil has a high clay content. Grade is away from the building, downspouts and drains clear. Sump pump works fine. Problem: In really raining weather there is a little water seepage in several spots. I would like to coat the walls to seal out the moisture. They are raw block, never painted. Medium sized basement under a 2800 two story home. What are you suggestions as a good product at a reasonable cost? Source for the product? Thanks so much.

UGL. http://www.ugl.com/DRYLOKframes02.html Perfect for the light-duty application you're describing. It may not work, if there is more hydrostatic pressure than you think there is, but it's a great product for a first shot at waterproofing from the inside. Most lumberyards and probably Home Depot and Lowes carry it.
Another good product is Thoroseal http://www.ruberoid.ie/ruberoid31.htm.
