I have an old block plane made by Stanley, model # 118P. I need a new plane iron as the old one has gotten too short from all the repeated sharpenings. Any suggestions for a source to purchase one?

Have you checked Lee Valley?

You should also be able to get an iron from Woodcrafter or Rockler if you have one near you.
