Getting ready to do the trim in my parlor, I have a new HVLP Conversion sprayer. My trim color is BM White Dove, which is a pre-mix color available in their Satin Impervo Latex. Going to spray alkyd primer and then two coats of Satin Impervo.
Anyone want to chime in whether or not these are good products and/or approach?
Now I’m looking at the new Aura paint. Supposedly no primer needed. However, it cannot be thinned and the spec sheet doesn’t mention anything other than airless sprayers. Anyone have experience pushing this through an HVLP?

Rent the airless for your latex painting, Save your HVLP for poly and laquer work.
just one opinion with HVLP units sitting at the shop rarely being used

i want to try the aura paint. paint co said they need 25k in equipment just to carry the new product.
I just use the cheap bm primer in 5 gallons. I dont like alkyd.
ya, use airless.
I think Benjamin Moore is a good product and you should have good results with primer and 2 topcoats. For interior painting, I use BM Fresh Start acrylic primer instead of the alkyd because it's a lot easier to work with.
I don't have experience with spray painting. All of my painting is with a brush and roller. If the weather is warm and dry, Floetrol helps to maintain a wet edge otherwise I just use it as it comes from the can (but I paint out of a cut bucket).
