I am in the process of building a house on the lake nearby. I will be keeping my boat in the garage at my new lake house. I am planning on having a house with a enclosed garage underneath with bedrooms and living area up above. Currently, I have my boat in one of those enclosed storage units and when I get there I always slight smell of fiberglass/ fuel/oil type odor. My wife asks me if our house above the garage will smell like that if left vacant for a week or 2? Do any of you have a situation simular? Thanks

I've had my boat in an attached garage and the fibreglass/gas/oil smell did not cause a problem. But I don't know about a garage below the living area.
Do any of you have a situation similar?
How about the smell of rotting grass and gasoline that comes from the mower ?
