Hi All I started upgrading my cordless stuff so I went with bosch 14.4 stuff and thought oh well lets bite the bullet and go all the way so I ordered up a 15 minute charger.Whho am I stoked, it’s so cool. How come I waited for like 10 years to get one I just don’t Know? It does 9.6 -24V Of the new generation of batteries. It says that it doubles the life of the battery, so that considered I’ll just not think how pricey it was(105$) It really should pay for itself over a short time. I also added a couple of new 9.6Vs for the light stuff so 15minitues and bing buzz and it’s ready. Any body else out there have any experience with these Quick chargers? drop the bomb I know it’s to good to be true, comon let me have it. Clay |

My own experience hasn't been carefully measured, but it seems I'm not replacing DeWalt 12-volt batteries as often now, as I was with the old-style chargers. Part of the reason so many cordless tools were ni-cad powered early on is that ni-cads can be charged pretty well with dumb chargers. They can be charged better with smart chargers and many other battery types have to have smart chargers to not blow up.
