Dieselpig,
Thought you might have one of these models……
WASHINGTON — The Robert Bosch Tool Corp. is recalling about 69,000 circular saws because of a faulty lower blade guard.
The Illinois company has received three reports of the lower guard malfunctioning. In one case, the company said it led to an amputation.
The recalled circular saws include the Bosch CS10, CS20 and CS20-XC models, which can be identified on the product nameplate mounted on the top of the motor housing. The recalled saws were sold at The Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menards nationwide, as well as independent hardware retailers and industrial distributors, from February 2004 through April 2005 for between $120 and $150.
Consumers should stop using the circular saws immediately and contact the tool company to receive a repair kit. The kit includes hardware and instructions for installation.
Consumers can call Bosch at (800) 856-9683 or visit the company’s Web site <http://www.boschtools.com> for more recall information.

That shouldn't bother Blue. He has already removed his guard, and whacked off the outboard edge of the table!

Only time I actually register tools is when they come from my tool guy or the Hilti guy.... cuz they do it for me. I guess I should revisit that policy, eh?
