I just bought a used less than a year old Bosch hammer drill for 75 bucks. Its model #11224 VSR. It came with about 10 hammer drills. I came across it just in time. I plan on drilling through concrete to put up a light and 2 recepticals. Does anyone have one of these and is it worth the 75 bucks?

Man I do that every once in awhile. But you know when I was in business I never came across any good deals. Now that I am retarded uh I mean retired I see all kinds of good deal. I think the world is bass ackwards. About a month ago I bought a brand new Unisaw for 850 bucks. 20 years ago I paid 1400 bucks for one. (I got a Powermatic contractors saw I will sell ya)
once I got a deal from a bankruptcy sale...
bought the lot sight unseen from the bank...
125$ got me 2 band saws, machinest lathe, 3 unisaws, 36" radial, 2 wood lathes, an SSC, a 3 head shaper, 28" planer, 2 jointers, table router, spray booth and a slew of blades, hand tools, vises, clamps out the wazoo, routers, bits, and cutters...
all in all it was well equiped cabinate shop...

I usually run across deals when I am broke or I just bought one. That bankrupt cabinet shop haul was a nice one.
I try to make deals when ever I need something.....
Heck and G8 don't like shopping with me....

I had looked at that link and the seller there did not say Bulldog on any of the three. Went back to Bosch site and they do still call it the Bulldog.
I think something got by me...

I had opened the link you provided to CPO Bosch, it listed a recon, new, and click cord version of the subject drill. I clicked on the items and the descriptions did not say anything with the Bulldog name. I asked if they had dropped it. I then went to Bosch company site and their desc did say Bulldog.
Guess I was not clear. Bob
3 of them, no wait i sold one, so 2 of them.
good drills for light to medium work. you did well.
I thought so when I bought it. But until now this old cabinetmaker saw no use for one. But I had no idea if it was a goodun. I do have several Bosch routers and a Bosch slider.
And I thought I made a deal for a saw with about five hours on it for $120! Sounds like you trumped me.
I've already used mine twice, and expecting to again when we cut through the sidewalk to lay drain line. Sure beats a regular drill for concrete and stone.
Cutting concrete is tough and dusty. I hope you do when it cools off a little.
