Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
thanks. i was thinking tyhe same thing.
I've had the Hilti TE 6C for a couple years. Just over a year old the chuck broke after some hard chiseling. Rep came and got it, the pc that holds the chuck wouldn't accept a new one so he sent it in for service. 2.5 wks later he called me to meet. Seems they had lost the original at service, so now I have a new one.
I have liked the operation of the unit a lot. After 30 years of hammer drill use, the rotary hammer is head and shoulders and most of torso above it. The dust collection system works very well. Drill inside a house with damn near no residue left. A good accessory.
A great place for Information, Comraderie, and a sucker punch.

I bought the Hilti today for $225 on clearance at HD.
If you got what I did, a very good deal.

I think you might have the dust control but I don't. Still like it. Pulled some rocks out of the pile yesterday and fired it up with a chisel just to try it out.
