bought a really nice stepvan for no reas
O i run up on this really nice step van… 20ft all alum box… diamond plate floor…… no dents well cared for nice paint… Diesel cummins 4bt turbo low miles, 6 good tires… everything works drives well… guy swears it gets 25mpg (research says this could be so)… $2200 i think it’d scrap for that…. i have a place to keep it inside… tell my full time plumber /hvac guy/ who can do anything that i guess it’d be good to keep stocked with all the stuff he needs all the time… might make his tasks a bit easier if he doesn’t have to load and unload tools & stuff all the time… i have a nice onan 4kw genset sitting in the corner… an extra RV rooftop ac/heat unit… maybe could build a simple rack system that would hold milk crates…
no i know we don’t need it… but it might make life a bit better

Check its GCVW and your local DOT. Now a days they are more headache then they are worth.
If your lookin for another let me know... I have one cheap.
it's not even an issue here.... with kodiak pickup trucks and F450's run'n around like fuel is cheap...
you can always call em an "RV" and any 90yo can drive a 40ft long 650hp cat powered one if he has the cash for it... go figure...
the 4bt cummins (2/3rds of a 5.9) would bring more than i paid for the van... if i really had a use for it and i might someday... I'd mount an RV awning on the side... add some flip out brackets on the side to haul a few sheets of sheet goods... figure some easy way to haul a few ladders ect.... pretty sure i could outfit it so i could maintain 99% of my stuff from it... keep it ready to go in inside storage... think it'd pay for itself just in knowing i had what i needed with me most of the time...
as it is... i just want to make life easier for Mike my right hand guy who wears too many hats and spends too much time loading and unloading tools...
