My sister-in-law and husband recently purchased a 5 yr old log house.
The block foundation wall has “separated” at the bed joint about 6 courses from the top. There are no gutters on the house and the wet soil is probably pushing the wall in. Odd thing is that the wall is not seeping or wet.
Any suggestions on straightening the wall? Approximate cost for a 40′ wall?
Thanks.

Blockmason.......
It could be that ground moisture has been freezing in winter to expand the soils and the frost action is pushing the wall in. That would account for the lack of water sign on the inside. Get gutters up and/or grade away after repair.
