I’m using a Max finish/brad nailer right now. Brad nailers and pinners are the only finish guns used here in Japan where I am. I just bought a Makita 23-guage pinner and it works like a charm. My Max brad gun has done me well, but it is on its last legs, so I am looking for a replacement. Cordless brad guns are not an option; What are the popular brad guns among pros in North America? I’m looking for a small size gun that only leaves a small nail hole. Some guns I’ve seen blow huge holes in trim. In the houses I’ve been doing lately it seems all they give me for trim is hemlock, which over-zealous nail guns can damage easily. Price is not a big concern, as the Max brad nailer I bought here sells for about $425 US. I’d appreciate hearing about what brad nailers are popular in N.A.

Senco and Bostich are probably the most popular, and I have the Senco, but the best one I've used is the Makita. Excellent tool.

Every review I see says Max is the one to buy. Pricey but good.
I think you should look at them again.
Max makes 23g pinner for Cadex, considered to be one of the better headless guns out there.
