I have to install a mixing valve and it has dielectric (sp?) unions (female) made of brass.
Do these have to be brazed or will soldering work. I am talking about copper to brass. Any help appreciated,
Mike

Soldering will work ,put most ot the heat to the pipe or wrap wet rag around the valve to avoid any damage to valve guts.
Like he said, soldering is correct. Taking the guts out is better than a wet rag if the guts come out.
Thanks to both of you, Mike
