Does anyone know of a good high temp brick paint. Our woodstove is close to the bricks and we don’t want something that will peel.

if you don't want it to peel then don't paint it!
brick should pretty much always just be left alone, imho, as I was taught that there is a special place in hell for those who paint brick.
:)
guess I be there cuz the wife wants it white.
just tell her it can't be done on brick near a heat source b/c some wise-az on BT told you it would peel and look nasty. much less work
White would be the worst possible choice. Even if it doesn't blister off, it will scorch and yellow.

I'd just get out the plaster, scratch and finish - forget the paint - tint to tone desired
