BSMT floor Radiant Ht /Heat pump wrm air
Building a new house. Looking at Heat Pump with electric coil for back up or to supplement. Thinking of infloor radiant tubes for basement level, Warm air vents with seasonal air conditioner for balance of house, which will be a large storey and a half. Southwest exposure on back of house with lots of windows. Looking at good grade of windows. House possibly to be constructed fully with insulated concrete forms. This house will be constructed in the very Northeast . Any comments ? Thank you.

Thank you, Razz for your acknowledgement .. Is this question a good one or is it that it just has not been noticed as yet. How do I find any answers, will it be posted or sent to me directly?
Hi Molly...
What specificly is it that you would like to know???
BTW... welcome to BreakTime...

Hi Molly,
Any answers will be right here one following another unless someone decides to send an email direct.
You desire for comments really wasn't specific enough in a detailed sense as if you had asked a direct opinion if insulated concrete forms were considered a valid construction practice.
Personally I like your southern exposure on the backside of the house with the windows.
Perhaps if you posted a specific question more response might be generated.
By the way, Welcome to Breaktime.

Is it that you are asking about a split system for your house... Or what are our thoughts about what you'd like or going to do...
Boiler for the basement RFH and a forced air system for the rest of the house which is the AC also...
Why not RFH all the way thru the house and an independent AC..
Which NE state are we talking about.. ME or VT???
