How well matched is the paste to the final cured concrete of the same color?
We did a counter in “slate” coloring, and the paste is quite a bit lighter than the counter, which has been curing for about ten days. The counter has been lightening as it cures, but that seems to be leveling off.
I’m having a hard time believing it will be the same color as the paste infill, but I just don’t know.
What are your experiences?
thanks,
k

Is this a BRhodes product that is supposed to match his mix?
My only input would be that if the mix and the paste are hydrated (more/less water) differently, they may not match that well.
Yeah, you can buy a BR paste to match each BR pigment color, for filling voids prior to polishing.
We specifically avoided partial batches because we didn't have an accurate scale, so our pigment/concrete mix shouldn't have been off.

Not matching paste
I have had the same problem with both Buddy Rhodes and Cheng pastes not matching. Part of te problem is the lack of sand in the paste. I take some of the dry concrete mix with pigment and set it aside to use as slurry.
