MGMAN,
Looks good. Love the open display cab to the left of the built-in refer. Did you spray or brush the cabinets?
Chuck S
thanks, all non "factory" cabinets/trim were brushed with standard 3 coat process, primer, 2 finish in acrylic egshell. I flanked both sides of the fridge with like cabs. The old flat soffitt was left above all the new wall cabs and given a 3pcs. trim to "hide" it.

This is what Fine Homebuilding is all about. Too many posts with factory cabs. What type of glaze did you use and at what point in the finish process? The reason I ask is when I glaze I have found it works best after a wash coat.
Chuck Slive, work, build, ...better with wood
sorry, but most of the cabs are factory! I just "blended" with trim and paint wherever I thouht I could.
a better pic?
OK, now I see the lighting up under that hood.
Still looks cool.

I like the kitchen but I'm curious about that vent hood. It looks high to me - whats under that wood?
Doug
the range is a downdraft, no vent, just lighting above.
