I have to replace a set of 3 windows that will leave an opening of 12’10″x 5’6” and I was wondering if I should buy a solid bay window or should I frame in the rough openings for 3 windows set to look like a bay?

Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

I'm looking at a similar situation. 12' wide and 6' high. I was going to start a thread when I get closer to doing it, just in the thinking/planning stage now.
I am going to frame and install three seperate windows.
This way I can adjust the bay angle to hit the desired projection from the house to stay under the existing eaves.
It'll be a lot easier to handle also.
