Most of the houses I deal with are slab on grade or stemwall with crwl-space. I have a client who wants minimal impact on a wooded site for a guest-house. The site is in northern New Mexico, where it snows and we usually go down a minimum of two feet to get below frost line.
I’m going to do the structure up on concrete piers but need help with how to clad (what materials) the underside of the floor. I would like to avoid wrapping a skirt around the base too. Any thoughts?
I was going to do an insulated masonry plumbing chase but am open to ideas on this as well.
Thanks in Advance,
John Marcarelli
