I am trying to design the corner of my small kitchen with a Corner Breakfast bar set upon a base of cabinets with wall cabinets above. The longest wall is about 73 inches – thus, the length of the bar could be approx 66-67 inches. The other wall is about 50 inches so I was thinking the depth could be about 36 inches. Just wondering if anyone has a photo of a design similar. The shape of the bar would be rectangle – seating for approx 3 down the length – when seating you would face the 73 inch wall and room for 1 seat at the end facing the 50 inch wall. (think corner) There is an entry/doorway on each side of these walls of the corner. I have searched the internet & cant find any pics.

Not entirely sure of the layout from your description. A drawing might help people understand what you're thinking about. That said, here's a small breakfast nook and peninsula I added to my last house - the peninsula is where the addition began. Small space, but pretty functional.

Thanks for the response & pics. The kitchen is beautiful. The nook area is what I'm trying to design. But basically what I have in mind, would be using the design ot your peninsula with the base cabinets underneath and build it right up against the corner walls of the nook. There are no windows on either of the walls of my nook, so I would have wall cabinets above. Finally, the seating would be counter height stools/chairs around the perimiter of the counter top of the peninsula. There would be no built in benches- due to fact that my peninsula would be built up again in the walls of the corner nook. Sorry, this sounds so confusing. I'm new to this, and have no idea how to post a drawing or photo. But thanks again for the pics. What kind of countertop's did you choose? I was thinking of Silestone quartz in Stellar Rose with Cherry wood cabinets in a cranberry stain, in something like your style of doors. I also want to do the recess lighting on the ceiling along with the under cabinet lighting. The Stellar Rose has broken pieces of mirror throughout the stone composition and I think the lighting would enhance the reflective little peices of mirrors. However, I'm a little leery if it would look to "disco" - ish! If anyone has any pics of this type of countertop, please advise if you are happy with the end result.
