Taunton has a decent book and I have a couple pic's I could post. What are you looking to do?
Go to a book store and buy or flip through the pages.
"Go to a book store and buy or flip through the pages."
And if you see something you even remotely like, BUY the book.
We're probably talking 20 bucks here, about the cost of a large pizza. A pizza goes in an evening but a built-in last forever.

You haven't seen the gut that I put a bunch of pizzas in. I'm pretty sure they're "Built In" now.
Tu stultus esRebuilding my home in Cypress, CAAlso a CRX fanatic!
Look, just send me to my drawer. This whole talking-to-you thing is like double punishment.
I normally use google to search for images....it's quick to sort through hundreds of pics to find one good one.
Also tend to lean on the Taunton idea books....although they are a little inbred--although they try to show different styles they tent to not be as broad as they like to think they are. Other brands of idea books are also good, especially if they show some different ideas.
For the most part I create built-ins within a half dozen or so basic construction techniques and just about everything falls within one of those categories--it's just a matter of determining what goes in it, what type of wood will be used, dimensions and a few other things. The fancy do dads that make each one unique can be fun, but often a do dad will not be used for the life of the built-in so I like to make them removeable.
What are you building?
"need some ideas for a new project."
I would suggest posting a picture here of the space, and a description of the desired outcome. you aren't going to do better than that, unless your a strictlly visual person.
That's one of the most vague questions I have ever encountered around here.
"built ins" could mean cabinets, bookshelves, nooks, benches, booth, tables, dressers, furniture, hot tubs, appliances, safes, etc.
For that matter, NO I don't know of a website gallery that shows any of these things specifically.
But, I do have a huge library of books showing built-ins... And I am a professional carpenter, used to be cabinet maker who has designed, built, and installed hundreds of "built-ins".
What is your intended project?
What is the size (DxWxH) of the proposed space?
What is the foremost style you would like the built in to have?
Usually built-ins are meant for custom purposes, do you have any specific custom needs?
Can you post a photo and/or a drawing of the intended location and surrounding area?
What is your "skill level" in carpentry?
Have you ever built... anything?
Come back when I can help you.

You're right very vague question.
I am looking to build some built-in paint-grade cabinetry used as a dresser/storage in a bedroom in an area that is roughly 15feet long with 10 foot ceilings. In the center of the space there is a window which will have a proposed window seat/ storage, on either side of that are "dresser-like" cabinets.
Thats as specific as I can be right now. I am in the processing of looking at different ideas, materials and layouts.
One of my "built-ins" is simply a dresser I cut the legs off of.

Your name isn't Jason, is it?
No and from what I remember
Jason would be more likely to cut the legs off an undresser rather than a dresser :)
BTW, personal experience, Its easier to find the old dresser and make the space for that than to make the space and then go find the dresser that fits.
