Hi,
Almost finished a shower enclosure when I stepped back and noticed a bit of a snafu. Anyhow, to remedy it I need to bust out 2 6×3 subway tiles. Just put them in 2 days ago, not sure if that makes a difference. It’s only a small problem which, if the solution is too tricky, I could live with.
Thanks,
Mike

Last time I had to bust out a couple of wall tiles, I covered them w a couple of layers of duct tape, and broke them up w a cold chisel. Go easy w the chisel so as not to destroy the tile backer board.
You could also get them out w a small grinder and a diamond cutoff wheel.
I used the chisel approach as I didn't want to deal w a lot of dust.
Best of luck, H
set in mastic or thinset?
i think mastic at 2 days would pop pretty easy, thinset,be sure you have a couple tiles.
