What is HDT? Other then heavy duty tools
Link: http://www.heavydutytools.net/Scripts/default.aspAny other tool suppliers that people recommend? I need to buy a compressor and a nail gun RSN...
I haven't tried HDT - seems they have a rather limited selection and haven't had what I needed. I've had great service from http://www.coastaltool.com/ - good prices, good selection too.
thanks, I like their site a lot - very helpful layout.
I needed (wanted) a rotary hammer and got the makita package deal, with 5 bits, grinder and diamond wheel with shipping too for far less than anyone else had the plain tool. It was shipped very quick and I had the stuff in only 2days. I look there when I need stuff first, and give them two thumbs up.
Yes, they are reliable. If I remember right, someone here on the forums lives near their store (whereever that might be) and knows the owners.
Just bought the Makita 10" Slider that they were advertising for 323. Got it shiiped to my front door way cheaper than I could go down to Lowes in town and get it. New, sealed up, and first rate packaging. I'd buy from them.

That outfit ought to be outlawed as the great tempter.
Prices are too good and you'll be tempted to buy stuff you don't really need.
3 1/2 horse Milwaukee router for $227 new and delivered to your door? bwaa! No, I ain't even going to go there.
Close yer eyes! Close yer eyes!

Check this out - if you add the Makita impact kit (14.4 with drill and flour. light @ $199) to the cart along with the Milwaukee 3 hp router - you can get them both for $404 shipped. Holy cow! That's a great price. They also have the Dewalt 705s 12" miter saw for $175.Looks like some good deals to be had.Wish I didn't already have the Makita impact kit - I didn't get a worklight in my kit.JT
