The same way you attach the cabinets together. Through the stiles. Pre-drill, countersink and screw.

*crosscut.. we talking about .. the best invention since sliced bread ?absolutely... thru the stiles...clamp in place.. drill .. then screw together..hi, billy
*Hi Mike.Forgot to mention to clamp them ... Pain in the @$$ without clamps. BTW, I do think they are the greatest invention since sliced bread. I hate designers that try to fill the whole wall space without any. Couldn't live without em.Billy
*And they are damn handy to have a cpl extra of for that pc you wish you had with the same finish. I like to use the edge rip for the returns that fill the recessed sides of the cabinet b/4 crown or some other trim at the top. Hate it when some hack up the edge of the stile to wrap the trim around an end cabinet.
*I (almost always) attach both cabinets & fillers without using clamps-I predrill the first piece with a big enough drill so the screw will float thru( so the threads don't bite)- use a screw about 1/2" longer than the width of the stile you are screwing thru, lineumup & with a bit of practiceyou can save alot of time. With the holes thru the stile being slightly oversized, if your alignment isn't perf you can tap them around. Another good reason to drill the first one out big is if the screw breaks it is easy to get the cabs apart to remove the flung
