Considering installing cable for railing around a new small deck, to maximize transparency for some nice views. Given the corrosive properties of the new (ACQ) pressure treating chemicals, I’m wondering if I should be worried about running stainless steel cable through pressure treated posts–anyone have any relevant wisdom or experience (same thing?).
Also, any favorite suppliers for the cable and fittings?
Thanks.

use redwood or cedar instead of PT....
or another wood of yur choosing...
even some of the new generation synthetics would be better than ACQ....
ACQ is time bomb waiting to go off....

WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
you could pre drill a hole in the pt and put some sort of piping in the hole and run your cable through that. i think that stainless steal would be fine with pt, but i would want something nicer for that kind of railing. your spending the money on the SS cable, why not spring for some cedar posts?
Every day is a gift, that's why it's called the present.
Firstly, PT has recently (last few months) been reformulated. ACQ is now the old stuff. If using "new" PT, compatability issues are supposedly moot. Secondly, stainless is the preferred material for ACQ (if that's what you've got) so you should be ok either way. Thirdly, most systems I've seen have stainless sleeves that go through the posts, i.e. no contact between cable and wood, just the fittings and sleeves.
Any idea what the "New" stuff will be referred to as?TFB (Bill)
"MicroPro" here's a link to their new brochure http://www.osmose.com/acrobat/micropro_brochure.pdf

Check out cablerail.com. You might want to consider metal posts.
Check out Feeney Wire And Rope 'Cablerail', which I have installed before:

Edit: Whoops, already mentioned by SMSLAW.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I had seen the cablerail system, which seems to be the major player for this application. They do provide stainless steel sleeves to run through posts, which still puts SS in contact with ACQ. Two major corner posts are unavoidably pressure treated (they're pre-existing, and in good condition), but I could and may well use cedar for other above-deck post and rail components.
