I’m building a new house and have drawn the plans (thanks to my 8th grade shop teacher) Should I now put them on CAD? Which Cad should I get? I need simple, computers make me want to hit them with my 22 oz. Estwing! Jeffysail |

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

Why put them on the computer? If you already have plans and you're happy with them, and they can be built from, is there any advantage you'd get from CAD? I think of the advantages of CAD as allowing me to easily change my mind, and bringing a greater and easier precision than pencil and paper. If your paper version suits you, then you're done.
I agree. If they work for you and the city (assuming you are in one) and your bank (assuming you are going for a loan) are happy, why put yourself through the frustration?
CAD simply makes it easier for us to draw bad faster.
both God and the devil are in the details
If you cannot visualize it in 3D, you will not be able to draw it in 2D and it cannot be constructed in 3D
or like a drunk outlaw in the old west, to fast draw badder

You know I had to read that three times to get it to be badder rather than bladder.both God and the devil are in the details

Sounds like you need a trip to the urologist if you have a fast draw bladder.;)
